What is Coast Salish art?
" Coast Salish art to me is using these elements Oval/Circles, Crescents, Trigons. It can be positive or negative trigons, extended trigons. I honestly believe that any Salish artist can push the boundaries of our art. Traditional and Contemporary can meet up and become something very beautiful in the eye of the beholder. Our stories told through art can always be re-visited or even re-done but in honor of artists before us, we always honor the ones before us and the ones that will be here after us. "
